He has a determined and relentless focus on ensuring business, IT and project goals align. This focus has resulted in his customers winning numerous industry awards for their successful CRM initiatives, including North Shore Credit which was honoured with the prestigious Credit Union Central of BC Innovation Award in 2003, as well as the IDC 100 Most Innovative Corporate IT Solutions (2005). NSCU’s assets grew by $130 million within the first six months of deployment; doubling the first year business case target in half the time.

Mark is also a freelance writer and university lecturer, whose articles focus primarily on bridging the cultural, communication and technology gaps between IT and the business community. His articles have appeared consistently in Business in Vancouver and Backbone Magazine.

An active and highly involved father of 3, Mark’s sense of humour is second to none. In his free time he enjoys hanging out in Amsterdam, O’Douls Amber and his own world famous chicken burritos. A collector of life adventures, Mark eventually wants to travel to Turkey, study psychology, crash a symphony and partake on a quest to have a beer with Shrek (*Note – No one at SALESWORKS has the heart to tell him Shrek isn’t real!).
