Jason joins Salesworks with more than 5 years of experience working in marketing and communications roles in private endeavors, engineering/environmental consulting, and also for WorkSafe BC. With a solid understanding of effective social media, search engine optimization and copy writing, Jason brings a fresh perspective and creativity to his role, and looks forward to lending his skills to new and ongoing projects.
Jason spent the last year building and operating his own blog, using witty copy to enlighten young professional men on the best places in Vancouver. He continues to run the popular site, providing weekly recommendations on the city’s best restaurants, bars, events and activities.
Jason loves the laid back West Coast lifestyle that Vancouver provides, and takes advantage of it by hitting the back country trails on his snowboard in the winter and playing soccer and football in the summer. When he does manage to sneak away Jason loves to travel. One of his favorite cities is Chongqing, China, where in the same city block visitors can walk by archaic shops displaying freshly butchered pig heads and mega malls selling designer goods to the uber rich. Next on Jason’s list is Nepal, where he’s always wanted to hike to Everest Base Camp.
If he lived in a dream world Jason would work as a film producer, living off of homemade fajitas and sipping on Hefeweizen and spicy Caesars on a sunny patio. He loves photography and despite the annual heartache they cause him continues to be a huge Vancouver Canucks fan, trolling NHL.com in his spare time.
